Terms & Conditions

Oceania Championship – Presented by OCF Events PTY Limited



1. Covid-19

At the time of ticket purchase, the parties acknowledge the potential impact of Covid-19 in Australia. If it becomes impossible or impractical for the event to proceed due to any cause or event connected with the Covid-19 pandemic and outside the control of the promoter, the event will be cancelled. Ticket purchasers will be refunded monies paid to the promoter, less any booking fees charged by the ticketing agent and credit card fees charged by the purchaser’s bank.



2. Event Organiser

This event is run by OCF Events PTY Limited (“Promoter”).



3. Binding Terms & Conditions

Tickets to the event are sold or given and admission is granted on the express condition that you are bound by these Event Terms and Conditions and any other rules and regulations issued by the Promoter. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Conditions of Entry.



4. Directions of Event Staff

You must follow all reasonable directions from event staff, security, and volunteers at all times and comply with Australian law during the event.



5. Entry to the Event Site

Entry will be granted with presentation of a valid bar-coded ticket (physical, PDF, or mobile) issued by the Authorised Ticketing Agency (Flicket Ltd). Tickets will be exchanged for a wristband upon entry. Your event wristband must be worn at all times. Damaged, removed, or tampered wristbands are invalid and will not be replaced.



6. Lost Tickets or Wristbands

Replacements are not available for lost, destroyed, or stolen tickets unless proof of purchase is presented.



7. Ticket Restrictions

You agree not to resell tickets contrary to Australian law. Without written consent from the promoter, tickets may not be resold at a premium, used for advertising, promotion, competitions, or trade promotions, or used to enhance demand for other goods or services. Tickets used in breach of these terms may be cancelled without refund and entry refused.



8. Ticket Purchase Limits

The promoter may enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel tickets obtained above these limits.



9. Search on Entry

You and your belongings may be subject to a security search upon entry. Refusal to comply may result in denial of entry without refund. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned.



10. Smoking Policy

This is a smoke-free event. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.



11. Photography & Recording by Spectators

Personal photography and short videos are permitted for private use only.

Flash photography is not permitted during competition heats.

Professional equipment (telephoto lenses over 20cm, detachable lenses, tripods, drones) requires prior accreditation.

Spectators must not obstruct views or interfere with the event when filming or taking photos.



12. Photography & Recording by Promoter

By attending, you consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded for event promotion without further approval or compensation.



13. Restricted Capacity

Venue entry may be subject to capacity limits. A ticket does not guarantee entry once maximum capacity is reached.



14. No Animals

No animals are permitted except service animals.



15. Spectator Behaviour & Access

Spectators must remain within designated public areas. Entry to competition floors, athlete warm-up zones, and other restricted areas is prohibited. Follow the directions of event staff, judges, and security at all times. Unsafe, disruptive, or offensive behaviour may result in removal without refund.



16. Alcohol

No BYO alcohol. Only alcohol purchased on-site may be consumed. You must be 18+ to purchase or consume alcohol and may be asked for valid ID. Supplying alcohol to minors is prohibited.



17. Drugs

Possession, supply, or consumption of illegal drugs will result in removal and may be referred to police.



18. Signage

No unauthorised signage, advertising, or promotional material is permitted on-site.

20. Liability, Indemnity & Risk

The Oceania Championship is a live sporting event involving heavy equipment, moving athletes, and loud environments. While spectator areas are designed for safety, entry is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the promoter, venue, staff, volunteers, and contractors accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained at the event. You agree to indemnify the promoter for any damage caused by your breach of these terms.



21. Ticket Name Change

Flicket may facilitate the transfer/renaming of tickets for a fee payable by the new ticket holder. Once a ticket is transferred, the original owner has no rights to it.

23. Refund & Cancellation Policy

This is an all-weather sporting event and will take place rain or shine unless deemed unsafe. The promoter may vary the program, date, or venue without notice. Refunds are only provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). These rights are in addition to any other rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. No refunds will be issued if you are removed for breaching these terms or choose not to attend.



24. Environment

Please dispose of rubbish in bins provided. We aim to minimise waste.



25. Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: alcohol not purchased on-site, weapons, explosives, flares, fireworks, illegal substances, drones, umbrellas, flags, or signs obstructing views, professional photography equipment without accreditation, promotional materials for unauthorised distribution, and any item deemed unsafe by event staff.



26. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State or Territory in which the event is held, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State or Territory.
